Kosmic TDX MY '25

The 2025 evolution of the TDX model keeps all the peculiarities that have been featuring this chassis over time, such as the frame structure, made up of Ø 32 mm steel chrome molybdenum tubes and the availability of three distinct and specific versions: direct drive, shifter and DD2. There are, however, several new features introduced. Above all, the M11 fairing kit and the unprecedented braking systems, both conceived and designed by the OTK Kart Group R&D department.

Nonstop evolution

PERFECT MATCH

The new TDX, in its 2025 version, keeps all the features introduced with the top-range Kosmic Kart model, the Mercury (now in its latest version named “T”), from which it only differs in the diameter of the tubes employed to manufacture the frame, which, in the case of the TDX, is Ø 32 mm. As for the other innovations introduced, however, there are no differences between the two models: both, in fact, mount the new M11 fairings, the new BWD (for the single-gear classes) and BWZ (for the Shifter categories) braking systems, as well as other technical details such as the new aluminium chain tensioner, machined and attached to the bearing support. The novelties also involve the aesthetic aspect, other than the technical one, thanks to the design of the new stickers applied to the fairings.

M11 Fairing Kit

UNIQUE DESIGN

Aerodynamics plays an increasingly important role in karting and for this very reason, OTK Kart Group's R&D department has paid special attention to the development of this aspect, finding innovative solutions through testing by means of CFD computer simulations, in the wind tunnel and, finally, on the track. The new M11 kit, which complies with current FIA regulations, come from this development process and includes a new front spoiler and a new front fairing, both with a unique design, combined with the side bumpers and rear protection that were part of the M10 kit introduced with the previous homologation. The whole aerodynamic kit is then completed by the new set of stickers, with a new attractive and innovative design.

BWD Braking System

TOP OVERTAKINGS FOR THE DIRECT DRIVE CLASSES

The innovative BWD braking system, specifically conceived for the single-gear classes, is one of the main novelties for the new Kosmic Kart 2025 range of products. The main features of this model are in the cylinder and the brake caliper, both of which are made using the highest quality materials, carefully selected by the OTK Kart Group R&D department, with the aim of improving the heat dissipation capacity of these elements thus allowing a consequent significant reduction in the brake oil temperature, so as to ensure a constant feeling over time for the driver when braking. The BWD system is available with two options: with the rear disc of 180 mm or 206 mm diameter, according to the needs.

BWZ Braking System

NEWS FOR THE SHIFTER

Based on the design that led to the birth of the BWD model for the direct-drive classes, the BWZ brake system is born, specifically for the ‘gear’ classes. The main features are the same, with a cylinder and a rear brake caliper that follow the philosophy introduced with the direct drive version. In addition, the new brake distribution and front calipers, revised in both the forged and machined components, now feature an innovative design – alike cylinder and rear caliper - with newly shaped fins and thickness - to further increase heat dissipation and structural rigidity. In the BWZ version, too, the rear disc is available with two options: 180 mm or 206 mm diameter.

Pedals and Steering Wheel

TOP DRIVING POSITION

The new TDX features for many novelties but also for several confirmations. Among them, the multi-adjustable pedals from OTK Kart Parts, which, combined with the inclined steering wheel hub, guarantee an optimal driving position, as well as quick and easy adjustment. Also, the steering wheel remains unchanged than the past: the HGS model is still confirmed, featuring the high handgrip which offers a significant reduction in driving effort. Such match of parts allows to obtain a driving position perfectly customized for the needs of all drivers.

DD2 Version

DETAILS MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

Like the Mercury T, the TDX MY 2025 in its DD2 version, offers all the new features introduced with the shifter model: the innovative M11 fairings, enriched by absolutely new graphics, other than the BWZ braking system with 180 mm or 206 mm diameter rear discs. Specific to this chassis version is the removable fixing system for the exhaust support.
