KFJ. Felipe Drugovich wins the first podium on the seasonal debut of the Racing Department. Our young Brazilian driver, after having attentively run completing a race without mistakes, has hit second place in KFJ, on the occasion of the first round of the WSK Champions Cup, held on the circuit of La Conca.

Drugovich finished second in the pre-final and in A final started from the second row, moving quickly behind the Tony Kart-Vortex of Lundgaard (Ward Racing), the race leader.

In these difficult weather conditions, with a pouring rain, Drugovich did not make any mistake and crossed the line in second place.

With the sum of the results gained in the pre-final and final, our Brazilian drivers owns the second position in the WSK Champions Cup trophy’s ranking.

It was a victim of the difficult weather conditions Charles Weerts. Our Belgian driver will have the chance to show his skills in a few days, for the second round of the Champions Cup.

KF. The sudden rain negatively marked the performance of our driver Karol Basz in KF category during the final.

At the eighth lap of the final, while Basz was in full fight for the podium, a sudden violent downpour imposed the stop of the race.

On the restart, after two laps only, our driver blamed an electrical problem, caused by the large amount of water on the track. Basz, despite himself, had to abandon any ambition to podium.

The epilogue of KF class was not in our favour, despite Basz was always in the first positions. At the end of the heats Basz had earned the top position with a victory, and in the pre-final had finished fourth.

Despite a bit of bad luck that has compromised the performance, all the Racing Department has been fully satisfied with the net competitiveness shown by our technical material and the Mercury MY15 chassis, with new beautiful graphics and competitive on the track.

Next weekend we will back again in La Conca, to complete the WSK Champions Cup. With the scoring system, which assigns scores in ascending order, Basz and Drugovich in particular, have great opportunities to win a top position in the standings.
