In style seasonal closure for our colours on the occasion of the Macau Grand Prix SKF. Kosmic Kart’s official drivers gained the podium conquering the second and the third position, with Cooper and Convers respectively. We also obtained the pole position with Convers in 47”003”. This way the season has been completed with a lot of success for the Kosmic Kart Racing Department, two-times winner, in the International WSK Euro Championship and in the World Series, too.
The last competition of this season saw us once more at the top, as we did in the whole 2010, with Armand Convers conquering the pole position and racing as protagonist in the very final, after his great recovery from the last position to the third one, behind the other driver of ours, Ben Cooper. Convers, in the pre-final, was banished at the bottom of the formation because of an electric inconvenient, otherwise we could also have more chances to win much more titles. Another deserved victory of the Macau Grand Prix was the one obtained by Marco Ardigò, driving a Tony Kart-Vortex.Macao’s competition is closing a rich season full of satisfaction for our team, a whole year racing at the top and winning the most prestigious titles, WSK Euro Series and World Series. Both Championships arrived thanks to Convers, in the master class, SKF, while in the World Series we did even better in KF2 category, with our Belgian driver, Sébastien Bailly. Confirming such good management and our material’s technical values are the two most important titles reserved for the teams, the World Cup and the Euro Cup, both won in SKF category, thanks to Cooper and Convers. As regards the CIK-FIA European Championship our chassis, Mercury and Lynx, shone in KF2 with a very good second position in the qualifying heats in Genk (Belgium), when Bailly got second. As much gloriously as our Kosmic Kart-Vortex did on the occasion of the CIK World Championship in Zuera (Spain), when Bailly started from the second row in the very final. This winning season had a huge contribution, in any category, also thanks to the Spanish young Hiltbrand, in KF3 category, many times on the podium during the WSK Series’ season and winner of the Spanish title in the master class. In the Spanish Championship again we find Colomé in KF2 category, who showed off gaining the podium.

Olivier Marechal – Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s Team Manager
“We’ve been racing at the top, both engines and chassis are excellent and results are clearly proving it. On next season we will still be the protagonists in the WSK Series’ competitions and we will introduce some changes in the KZ category. Actually Convers will be engaged, most probably, in the category with the gear, so that we will be able to aim at the top in all categories, provided that we will work with as much application and accuracy as we did during this season. The new chassis we employed during the end of the season proved we are ahead in terms of performances and reliability, and this sure is a point where to start 2011 from.”
