By the first competition of the season, the WSK Master Series, taking place on this weekend at the Italian circuit of La Conca, the team makes his 2013 line-up official as well as its sporting activities.

After the good season 2012, ended with the achievement of two important titles, such as the CIK World Cup for KF3 and the Asia Pacific for KF2, the Kosmic Kart Racing Department is now ready to fight during the engagements of the new season!

RACE PROGRAM 2013 – Our Racing Department’s International schedule sees the attendance to all the CIK-FIA competitions as well as to the International WSK, Euro and part of the Master events. Other than this, the team will also take part in other events such as the Winter Cup and the WSK Final Cup.

DRIVERS – Drivers’ line-up is full of young interesting drivers, some of them winners already but still willing to grow and not fulfilled at all. Our Racing Department will have the traditional and exciting task of supporting young talented drivers in order to make them grow. It is on this path that Luca Corberi, winner of the World Cup for KF3 (today called KF Junior) will shift to the KF class. The Italian driver Corberi will fight in KF category against the Asia Pacific Champion, Nicklas Nielsen, another talented driver who trained and experienced thanks to the teamwork with our staff, too. In the category with the gear Armand Convers, experienced driver, will have the task to fight for the Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s colours. Convers will also play the role of coach driver for the young drivers of the team. The Kosmic Kart Racing Department is thus confirming to have the special task to find out young talented drivers and it is for this reason that the team is glad to welcome another high-potential driver, the Italian Andrea Russo. He showed off, greatly, on the occasion of the Rok Cup, when he won the Italian title on 2010. Russo will have to attend a quite hard race calendar including the Winter Cup, WSK Euro and all CIK events.

CHASSIS – The new homologation has introduced significant innovations for the chassis our Racing Department will have at its disposition.

Mercury and Lynx will be the chassis our drivers will run to aim at succeeding in all the competitions. Their qualities are very well known already and now some important new components have been introduced, contributing to make them more and more performing and efficacious.                                                       Engines employed are still the winning Vortex, particularly the RVXX, mounted for the KZ, and the RAD one.

Olivier Marechal – Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s Team Manager
“We have a very good team, where anything is at its right place, we have winning material, good drivers and a team working in good synergy. It won’t be easy to confirm the very good results of the past season, but we will do our best employing all our efforts and determination. I can’t exclude that during the season some interesting driver will join our team, as it happened in the past.”
