The first World Championship's appointment at Suzuka coincides with the Asia Pacific Championship of KF2 category. In both categories our Racing Department got a true success. Nicklas Nielsen won the Asia Pacific title in KF2 category and Daiki Sasaki was the absolute protagonist in the four rounds of the World Championship in KF1 class.
Sasaki missed the success for a hair's breadth, he actually conquered the victory in race-3, before the penalty. However our driver got excellent results, with the pole position gained on the first day and with the three podiums, all of them with the second step. Such performances put Sasaki at the second position of the world ranking, behind the Italian Tony Kart Racing Team's driver, Flavio Camponeschi.
Nielsen won the title  in a faultless way, perfectly assisted by his team and his chassis, and could lead the race without hesitation, crowding a weekend full of brilliant Kosmic Kart and Vortex colours.
This is what our champions said after the competition in Japan.

Olivier Marechal – Kosmic Kart Racing Department's Team Manager:
“We were very satisfied with this weekend in Japan. We already won the Asia Pacific Championship three years ago and this further success makes us very happy.  Win such important competition is always very hard. We worked at best to make our drivers' chassis steady and fast over the long track, however we collected good results in the single round, too, it is clear with the result gained by Sasaki during the qualifying heats.
Daiki ran excellently, too, but he missed the success even though me and many others think he deserved it. We hope he will get it in Macao.”

Nicklas Nielsen - Kosmic Kart Racing Department's driver – Asia Pacific Winner in 2012, KF2 category
“We soon began good, performing good heats and we also won one
In the prefinal I started in third position I won and I soon understand that we did a good job with the set-up of chassis allowing me to face this long race at best. During the final I was very concentrated, I knew I had the chances to win and actually I ran in first position until the end. I dare say anything was working perfectly in Suzuka, so the good result obtained is not only mine but of all the team.”
You entered the Kosmic Racing Department a few months ago and you've soon found the good spirit and synergy with the team.
“The team is highly professional and everybody work hard to do a good job, to win. All technical material we have at our disposition is top-level, so under this point of view I was favoured since I ran a lot with Tony Kart chassis before, and they're are the same as the Kosmic chassis.
I can say that without this team and this management I could not have obtained the important result I got in Suzuka.”

Daiki Sasaki - Kosmic Kart Racing Department's driver – 2nd position in the World Cup's ranking, KF1 category
“It is clear I had a great weekend with the Kosmic Racing Department. I performed in a good speed while running the single round, and that is why I soon got the pole position on the first day of Saturday, and with the final result I am now in the second position of the World Championship's classification.”
Are you satisfied with this Suzuka event?
“In my opinion I was both lucky and unlucky, but if I do a balance I can say I am very satisfied with the final result. I am happy I conquered three times the podiums out of four races. I ran after the success very well determined and for sure I was not satisfied with missing the first step of the podium in my Country.”
What do you think about the Macao competition that will assign the title in KF1 category?
“The final is still very far and it is difficult to make a forecast now. What it is important for me to say now is that I'm running in a team which is giving me the best support and for this reason I wish to thank all the team a lot.
I really had perfect chassis and engines, anything was working in synergy and mechanics did a very good job. Working together this team makes any result possible to obtain on next October, in Macao.”
