KF3 – In KF3 category under the pouring rain Luca Corberi did a very good round, able to avoid all the inconviences due to the wet track. Our young driver could thus recover from a bad qualifying round and ranking (45°) and obtained a third position in the pre-final A ending the very final in sixth position to start in a good manner the WSK Euro.
On the other hand Alessio Piccini who was really unlucky, with a qualifying rankink him at the 40th he could not recover from a hard fight at the center of the group of drivers.
Our KF3 drivers, after the first round of the WSK Euro, have now to think about the first event of the European Championship, scheduled for the 26th to 29th of April at the French circuit of Varennes.
Besides Corberi and Piccini one more Italian driver will run, Giuseppe Gaglianò, winner of the Rok Talent Award 2011.

KF2 – In KF2 category Nicklas Nielsen and Paolo Ippolito got performances full of ups and downs. The changing track because of the pouring rain did not allow drivers to give the value to their technical material and they could not get important scores.

KZ1 – Zdenek Groman ran in the whole weekend at the top positions of the classification. During the rounds of race-1 our Czech driver also obtained a second position and in final-1he got the ninth' and important scores. Even better was his path to the final-2, with two times a fourth position Groman could start at the fifth position of the starting grid.
The very final saw our driver in the fight for the podium but the unluck hit Zdenek who had to withdraw four rounds before the end of the race because of a problem to the chain. However despite this inconvenience he performed very well in this round and we wish to remind that Groman is at his first season in this category, after a valid career in KF2 and KF1 category.
Armand Convers gained good scores in both rounds ending in tenth position on Saturday and in eight position in the very final of Sunday.

KZ2 – To Oliver Grotz and Charly Bilazion the WSK Euro Series was a first time as well as in the category with the gear. Oliver Grotz ran in our Racing Department during the past years in KF category.

Olivier Marechal - Kosmic Kart Racing Department's Team Manager :
"Zdenek was very unlucky however his performances were very good and for sure he will have many chace to show off. Our technical material works very well and he's improving quite fast.
As for the KF3 category I think we are able to obtain good results at the European Championship, we have a good technical potential and drivers too confirmed to be able to run fast. We are aware that in order to win any problem with the team should not interfere while on the track. I will recommend to all drivers to be ready and well concentrated since the beginning in order to obtain a good timing at the qualifying heats. It is fundamental to run far from the middle of the group, or we know, we do not know what we may incur in.”

Giuseppe Gaglianò, winner of the Vortex selection for the new talented drivers, the Rok Talent Award will be in your racing team.
I am satisfied with the decision of Vortex to introduce this new young talent coming from the Rok Cup. I suggest Giuseppe (Gaglianò), not to exaggerate. This is his first experience at international level and he has to be quiet, and to do what he feels step by step. We will support him under any aspect, technical and human."

Luca Corberi – Kosmic Kart Racing Department's driver in KF3 category:
Even though in Sarno it was raining a lot and considering that the wet track is not my preference, we performed well.
In Varennes what I expect is to run in the top positions. We have anything to succeed and I like the track, I know it since last year on the occasion of the European Championship 2011.
I am not excited at the moment, but I will for sure from Thursday and most of all from Sunday, when finals will start.”

Alessio Piccini – Kosmic Kart Racing Department's driver in KF3 category:
The track is nice and on last year I had good results. I hope to succeed in this European Championship and also improve than what I did in Zuera, even if that was a single round's European event. I am thrilled, it is a championship at the best out of two rounds and for this reason I am more quiet. In terms of technical material we have a good potential and I am determined to do my best.”

Giuseppe Gaglianò – Kosmic Kart Racing Department's driver in KF3 category:
The track is very fast and I like it. My target is to be able to reach the final, then from that time on any result will be an addition to what I expect. What I have to better train and learn is the starting system with a carburettor with the screw, as it is used to be in the competitions. I will have a lot to do on next week. It will be a particular competition and I am happy that Vortex chose me and gives me the opportunity to run in one of his official teams”.
