Finally time has come. The official Kosmic Racing Department official team will come at the track for the first time at the 17th edition of the Winter Cup, at the International South Garda circuit (Italy).
Even though the Italian race is a one-shot and the cold weather conditions will not permit a good evaluation of the technical material, the Winter is representing an important moment in the season.

KF3 – Two Italian drivers will make their début, Luca Corberi and Alessio Piccini, young drivers who will be able to perform at their best in KF3 category, thanks to the top-material they will have at their disposition. In particular, Kosmic Mercury powered by Vortex RAD engines. All the team is engaged in the best support of both drivers, for them to grow in the best way possible.

KZ2 – In the category with the gear we will have a partial début, with Zdenek Groman. The good driver of the Czech Republic was already the leader with our colours in the World Championship 2011 of KF1 category. Zdenek in this season will face the light and winning passage to KZ1 category. Groman will be supported by a good advisor, the experienced driver Armand Convers, one of the best drivers in the category.

KF2 -
Paolo Ippolito, after the first year of apprenticeship in KF2 category and in the Kosmic Racing Department, has now the chance to show off his further improvements. All the team is expecting Ippolito will obtain top results, after his positive performances of 2011.

Olivier Marechal - Team Manager Kosmic Kart Racing Department:
"We know that the Winter Cup hides particular dangers, however it is important to start at best; my expectations about new drivers is that they can integrate in the team and work with them planning good targets for the future. I do not want them to overdo but to see them constantly grow little by little. The same is for Groman, his passage to KZ category is like a début for him. Zdenek has the right potential to soon and easily adapt to the new category.
The team is more or less the same and the material is tested and competitive, so we are ready to support drivers at best."
