On the occasion of the competitions giving admission to the European CIK-FIA Championship’s Final, all our drivers easily conquered, the admission to the final stage. From the next July, 20th to 24th drivers of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department will compete to gain the continental title on the Spanish demanding Zuera circuit.
In the qualifying heats held at the French Jean Brun Circuit of Varennes (south European drivers) and at PF International Circuit, Great Britain, (north European drivers) both Ippolito and Hiltbrand raced to achieve one step of the podium.
At the end of these positive qualifications, Ippolito racing in Varennes, missed its chance to get on the podium. Marcon was penalized with a not good qualification, but he then succeeded in taking part in the “A” Final, largely gaining his access to Zuera.
Same result, positive one, for the Argentinean driver Maranzana, racing in England and first position in the “B” Final.
In KF3 category Hiltbrand took the first row at the end of the rounds and got very close to the podium, before beaten at the end. Hiltbrand was also fighting for the second position, too.
On the occasion of the first seasonal CIK appointment Kosmic Kart totally confirmed once more our chassis validity, with Mercury chassis giving evidence of their easy-to-adjust qualities up to any track paths. The team is then able to look at the next seasonal events, thanks to the perfect support given by Vortex engines.
