Last event of the season for the team and the World Champion for KF class On the occasion of the WSK Final Cup in Adria (Italy) next to Basz in KF, Drugovich has his debut Lundberg in KZ has to recover positions due to some collisions Weerts is at the end of his first international season in KFJ category
KF World Champions’ season has ended with the last event at Adria Karting Raceway circuit. On the occasion of the WSK Final Cup the lineup in KF was completed, other that by the world champion Karol Basz, with the Brazilian Felipe Drugovich, at his debut in the top class.
Drugovich was undisputed leader of KFJ in the whole season and on the last round he made his top performance.
Basz soon took the pole in the qualifyings and the second row of the prefinal grid, ahead of his teammate Drugovich.
The very final saw Basz in a true fight for gaining the podium. Our driver was unfortunately forced to run in the third position due to the comeback of Verschoor, at the wheel of an Exprit chassis, manufactured in our factory.
Drugovich completed the final with a seventh position after a difficult start which sent him to tenth place.
In KZ class Douglas Lundberg performed very good recoveries during the whole weekend of race. Our driver lost positions due to some collisions but recovered with determination, closing the heats in fifth and the final in seventh position, after the umpteenth comeback.
KFJ. Charles Weerts continued his apprenticeship in the cadet class, ending the season with our racing team with a positive growth.
