KF. No better way for our Kosmic Kart Racing Department to start the European Championship. At the Spanish MotorLand Aragon circuit of Alcaniz we won a wonderful final in KF with Nicklas Nielsen.
Our driver’s positive performance was clear and well trained since the heats when, other than Nielsen, Convers and Russo also won one heat.
For their excellent performances in the heats Nielsen, Convers and Russo gained the first rows at the end of the heat. Convers was second, Nielsen fourth and Russo thirteenth.
Unfortunately our Italian driver Luca Corberi was quite unlucky and missed the final for a hair’s breadth.
Nielsen started his climb from the two pre-finals and gained a second position and the first row at the starting grid of the final, next to Sorensen.
Convers and Russo ended their respective final with the sixth position.
Our Nielsen accomplished a sudden and decisive jump to the leading positions, reaching at the second lap the Tony Kart-Vortex driven by the other Danish driver Sorensen. Nielsen, in a perfect synergy with his wonderful chassis, definitely won and he is now in the lead of the continental ranking.
Unfortunately Russo had to stop at the starting grid and Convers, too, hadn’t a better fate. Actually after having fought for gaining the top position, he had to stop at half competition.

KF Junior. We will not linger on the important attendance of the products manufactured in our factory of Prevalle, who really crowded the very first ranking positions. However we have to highlight Lando Norris’s success at the drive of a FA Kart-Vortex of the Ricky Flynn Motorsport.
As for our drivers’ performance, we cannot blame anything to Bin Hishammudin and to the Rok Talent Squaranti, since they were both at their very first international experience and they progressively grew, gaining more and more experience.
Benjamin Lessennes obtained a very good qualifying in the eighth row and the fifteenth position under the chequered flag.

Olivier Marechal – Team Manager of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department
“I am satisfied with our work and with Nicklas’ success. He deserved it and now our task is to confirm our potential in the final competition at Ortona.
We are happy but we look ahead to the conclusive round of the European Championship for KF category. I am sorry for the others KF, since they could have gained even better results.
As for KF Junior drivers, their task was not easy and they did their best. They all had little experience, so we could not expect much. In the next competition they will treasure of their gained experience”.
