The second round of WSK Euro Series ended up with a double win in KF1 category, with Bailly and Groman. Our drivers expressed themselves at their maximum level during the whole weekend, in the master class, thus obtaining a brilliant victory.

KF1 – Since the very first rounds Groman and Bailly were steadily in the first positions, this way entering the wonderful Super Pole. At the end of the qualifying Groman signed the fifth best timing and Bailly the ninth’s. During the qualifying heats our technical staff and drivers’ work was focused in developing at best the performances of our technical material. Both chassis, Mercury, and engines, Vortex RAD, gave the opportunity to drivers to give their best. Actually since the short Final on Saturday already, both Groman and Bailly, collected important scores for the classification. Their results were even better in the very Final on Sunday, when we obtained a brilliant second and third position with Bailly and Groman. Thanks to the high level kept since Sarno, now our drivers are at the top of the Championship’s classification, too. Bailly is in the second position with 64 points while Zdenek Groman is fourth with 42.

KZ1 –  In KZ1 category Convers recovers gaining some positions and this way giving a further confirmation of the positive results obtained in Castelletto di Branduzzo (WSK Master). On a quite different track, the development of the technical material has been further ameliorated gaining even more points for the general classification, very useful to maintain our driver Convers on the run.

KF2 – The opposite side of the unlucky race of Marcon and Ippolito is the very good recovery of Tan Wei Ron. The Malaysian driver, at his first International debut of the season, has been able to recover not less than 47 positions, since the qualifying heats. Wei Ron was then slowed down due to a slight inconvenient, preventing him to go beyond the 54° timing position. During the eliminatory heats and the final races Wei Ron fought with determination and, also thanks to his perfect chassis, he could close the very final with a 6th position, collecting the first good score of the season.

KF3 – We’ve been once more the protagonists in the cadet class. Hiltbrand signed the 5th timing, with 57’534. During the qualifying heats and at the end of the eliminatory heats the Spanish driver achieved the success and two-times second position, gaining this way the third position at the starting grid. In the two races important for the classification’s scores, i.e. the pre-final and the final, Hiltbrand fought at the top and obtained further important points for the Championship. Thanks to this, our driver is now occupying the eighth position and will be even able to gain further positions, thanks to the best technical material in his hands.

Olivier Marechal - Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s Team Manager:

“In all categories we did a good work, giving confirmation of both chassis and engines’ competitiveness. For sure we can’t say we are completely satisfied with it and for this reason we will go on working hard. In a short time we will attend the important European Championship selection for KF2 and KF3 categories, which are to be considered as strategic lines for our products. As for KF1 and KZ1 categories, the break is quite long, since the Japanese competition has been shifted, however we will find out how to keep our drivers well concentrated and how to better develop our material”.
