KF. The WSK Super Master Series’ final, one of the most exciting and spectacular continental championships, saw us protagonists in the run for the title with the KF category driver, Karol Basz.
Our driver, after having gained two successes (Adria and Castelletto) led the standings on the eve of the final race, at the Naples International Circuit.
After a successful series of heats (3rd, 2nd and 5th), Basz jumped from the second row in the pre-final and fought throughout the race with the direct rival of the championship, Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex).
Almost at the end of the race, in the middle of the fight, Basz was overtaken by some drivers, and finished twelfth.
In the final, Basz, in the difficult attempt to recover positions, and valuable points, moved up to the fourth position. At the end of the race our driver got a penalty of ten seconds for a play considered irregular, and was thus relegated to fourteenth place.
Regardless of the penalty, the second place in the WSK Series final standings remains confirmed, thanks to the two victories and the two pre-finals.
Lady Jessica Backman recovered in the final decision and in the final could gain the scores for her tenth place in the standings. A result, Jessica’s, that took her to the twenty-second place in the overall standing.
All our team wishes to congratulate with our former driver Nicklas Nielsen, who won the WSK Super Master Series 2015.

KFJ.
Felipe Drugovich has confirmed to be a top-driver on the Naples Circuit, making the most of the technical material made available to him by our Racing Team; the Brazilian driver could recover after unlucky qualifyings. Drugovich, in fact, qualified twenty-seventh, but has always gone up during the heats, finishing third three times and winning one.
In the pre-final B both our drivers, Drugovich and Weerts, performed well. Felipe also led the race for long sections, except for he got slightly delayed to re-start after the race was put on hold.
Weerts finished fourteenth, gaining the first points and confirming his strong and competitive growth, which thanks to the work that all our staff is doing with the young Belgian driver.
In the final Drugovich finished fifth and took, also, the fifth position in the ranking of the WSK Super Master 2015.
Despite the title he missed in KF, right to the final sprint, the information we collected at Naples clearly show that the technical material, Mercury MY15 chassis powered by the fast and reliable Vortex engines, are a guarantee in view of the imminent start of the CIK-FIA European Championship, scheduled for the weekend of May 10th, at Portimao (Portugal).

KZ.
Douglas Lundberg was able to defend the Blue Kosmic Kart colours all alone, in the master class, on this occasion. Douglas performed very well in the heats, finishing in sixth place.
Lundberg turned in a positive initial phase of the pre-final, where he had the fourth place. Subsequently, some unlucky collision, made our driver slide in tenth place. In the final race a premature withdrawal due to an accident forced him to stop.
